The Game Awards 2014 - Kategorien und Nominierungen stehen fest

Am Freitag, den 5. Dezember, werden in Las Vegas die besten Spiele, Entwickler und Gamer des Videospieljahres 2014 für ihre Leistungen ausgezeichnet. Die Game Awards feiern dieses Jahr ihr Debut, denn sie beerben die Spike Video Game Awards aus den vorherigen Jahren. Videospiel-Journalist Geoff Keighley möchte eine Preisverleihung schaffen, wie es sie schon für die Film- und Musikbranche gibt (Oscar, Grammys). Neben den Auszeichnungen wird es Liveauftritte, Spieleankündigungen und Trailer zu kommenden Titeln geben.

Nun wurden alle Kategorien und Nominierten des Live-Events bekanntgegeben. Diese wurden von 28 internationalen Pressevertretern gewählt. Geoff Keighley möchte das Live-Event zur wichtigsten Trophäe der Branche etablieren, dabei stehen ihm mehrere Branchengrößen zur Seite. So gehören beispielsweise Hideo Kojima von Konami, Phil Spencer von Microsoft und Yves Guillemot von Ubisoft dem Beirat der Game Awards 2014 an.

Es folgen die Kategorien und die dazugehörigen Nominierten der "Game Awards 2014", sowie ein Teaser zum Live-Event.

Gäbe es die Kategorie "Beste Neuauflage" nicht, wären wohl die Master Chief Collection und GTA V auch bei der Kategorie "Spiel des Jahres" eingeordnet worden. Aber muss ich zustimmen, die Kategorie fällt schwach aus.

... absolut. Da sollten eigentlich alle die stehen, die auch für die einzelnen Genre nominiert wurden :-/ = Hrmpf Und dann heisst es: Es kann nur eines geben ;-)
